'We moved into Harberton Park, over 33 years ago, when our eldest child was just 6 months old.
The BT9 address was the main attraction at first but very quickly we began to appreciate how well designed it was and appropriate for family living.
Even then, it had features such as the "pram space" at the bottom of the stairs, the "china room" just off the cloakroom and how the rooms were comfortable in size.
From old photographs, we set out to restore the front of the house to the appearance it would have had when designed originally. So we changed the front door from a single glass pane to the 15 pane door with bevelled glass.
In 2005, we extended the property and from the exterior, kept it in character with the rest of the house. The space where the old garage had sat became a patio and the garage made level with the front of the house and integrated with the house.
We have loved this house for most of our married life but in doing so, recognised that since our daughters moved out, it was only being partially used by us and, not wanting it to fall into disrepair through lack of use, the time has come for us to pass it on and we hope that you will love it as much as we have.'
