The lands extend to approximately 15.7 acres (6.354 hectares) with frontage unto the Lisburn Road and Carnreagh. The lands are within the development limits of Hillsborough and are adjacent to Kilwarlin housing development and to Hillsborough Village Centre.

The historic name for part of this property in the 19th century was Cromlyn Lodge which is where the name of the development comes from.
