The subject property is situated in the townland of Glasgort fronting the local road which extends from   Ballintubber Abbey (N84) L5744  It  is approximately 1km East of Ballintubber Abbey in a most pleasant pastural setting so very convenient to Corley's  Bar/Restaurant beside the Abbey, primary school on the N84, 2 kilometres distance together with a filling station, and a large convenience store also on the N84.   Moorehall, the home of the famous author George Moore, is just 7 kilometres distance, Lough Carra is no more than 2 Kilometres, a well known freshwater fishing lake, also having many areas also suitable for swimming.
