Abbey Real Estate was established in 1999 by local man Fred Ashton. Fred was originally trained in Osborne King and Megran and has over 40 years experience in the local area, specialising in all aspects of property including residential and commercial sales and lettings, land acquisition, sales and development, corporate asset valuation and property liquidation.

Our friendly offices are in the heart of Ballyclare town centres and are involved the community in many different areas including supporting our main chosen charity, Praxis Care.

Praxis Care is Northern Ireland's largest charity providing services in Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Isle of Man and England. The charity is at the centre of caring and providing excellent support to vulnerable children and adults affected by mental ill health, acquired brain injury and dementia.

The Abbey Classic Golf Day in conjunction with Praxis was at the Hilton Templepatrick in May 2011. We are delighted to say that Abbey Real Estate raised over £9000 for the charity.

Fred continues to be the major sponsor of Muckamore Cricket & Lawn Tennis Club. He was Captain of the 1st XI in 1993 and has recently been elected as club chairman. Fred's son Ryan has just been made business parter following his degree fro, University of Ulster with a BSc in Property, Investment and Development. He is involved in the local football club, FC Ballynure which Abbey Real Estate continue to sponsor.

Staff members are all encouraged in local, community and Church projects.
