Description

Kilfane Glebe is a fine period house with beautiful grounds in a wonderful location. Its accommodation is of high quality and the outbuildings are suited to a wide variety of uses and interests. It was built as a glebe for the Church of Ireland Rector of Kilfane in or about 1807 and was equipped with all the attributes of a country house of the time. The current owners have done extensive works to the property in recent times to include renovation of much of the stable yard buildings, refurbishment of the gardener's cottage and much drainage works to preserve the house in good condition. The purpose built studio has been an inspiration to the current owners whose work is known worldwide. The house is set in wonderful mature parkland enhanced by some mountain views and the wooded demesnes of the neighbouring parklands of Kilfane House, Kilmurry House and Summerhill all within a few fields of Kilfane Glebe.
