Location
The Ouvane Falls Inn is a family run business located in a fantastic riverside location in Ballylickey, Bantry, in the wonderfully scenic “Rivera of Ireland”, West Cork. The original building is over one hundred years old and is steeped in local history and lore. It is located at the crossroads between Bantry, Glengarriff and Beara, Kealkill, and Kimholla in the foothills of the Caha mountains. It is ideally located for access to Glengarriff with Garnish Island and the Glengarriff Bamboo Park, the Beara Peninsula with it’s many historic & scenic delights, and extensive water sport activities, the famed tourist towns of Kenmare and Killarney in the Ring of Kerry, the many local historic and scenic sights including the internationally renowned Gougane Barra National Park with the fascinating ancient ruin of St. Finbar’s monastery, and of course Bantry Bay town and harbour with Bantry House and Gardens, the Armada Centre, and it’s many bars and restaurants and amenities including a multi-screen cinema and a number of family leisure centres. The Ouvane Falls Inn is within walking distance of one of the most highly rated camping parks in Ireland, the Irish Tourist Board Approved Quality 4 Star Caravan and Camping Accommodation, Eagle Point. Prominently located one of the most scenic routes in Ireland guarantees an excellent passing trade, and a booming local town with many industries and an ever expanding population provides an excellent local trade. Bantry is just 6km away while Cork city and airport are just 1 hour by car. West Cork is a very special place located in south-west Ireland, within Ireland's largest county, County Cork. Home to some of the most breathtaking scenery in Ireland, west cork offers the broadest range of activities, entertainment. West Cork is also a very cosmopolitan place with many nationalities having been totally beguiled by the serene beauty of the place many have.

Garden and access to a separate outdoor raised balcony
area with seating.

has amazing views across the bay and river.
Beer garden; The riverside  beer garden is  widely acknowledged to be one most beautiful in west
cork, if not Ireland. It has many shrubs and trees and a well manicured lawn, easy
access to the bar & lounge and ample seating. There is a fantastic view across
Bantry Bay, especially at sunset, and the  and the view of the river sweeping under
the bridge along the edge of the beer garden is equally wonderful.
The beer garden is one of the many highlights of the Ouvane Falls Inn and is very popular with locals and tourists alike. It is an excellent setting for a lunchtime snack, an evening sunset drink, or a get-together with friends and family at any time. With the appropriate permission it is a fantastic location for outdoor entertainment – outdoor music is extremely popular in West Cork, and can be used for bar-b-q and outdoor parties. The beer garden is extremely private and not viewable from the public road. The current owners have done much to extend the garden to its existing size; beautifully landscaped the gardens and installed protective fencing. But the potential to expand the use of the gardens into a much more lucrative part of the business is huge; outdoor entertainment, outdoor food & drink, outdoor performances, even the possibility of installing a mini jetty which could accept small to medium size vessels at high tide – are all possible.
