Advertisement can be Flash, JPG, GIF or Animated GIF format. Maximum filesize is 39 KB.

We would recommend that the creative's do not exceed 15 seconds in animation length.

We will be happy to serve your ad for you. There are no special requirements for gif or jpg ads, but for flash ads you need to ensure that you do not encode the url into the ad file.

In the flash file create a button and add the following code to it:

Please note the code is case sensitive, clickTAG will not work, it needs to be typed clickTag.

We also recommend that you output the file to no higher than flash 6 player.

Important Information - Please set a background on your flash ads

It is important to set a background to your flash ad, otherwise your ad may appear transparent. To set a background all you need to do is create a graphic layer that matches the size of your ad.

Video Ads

Propertynews.com are happy to run video ads simply follow the technical guidelines below:

Ads have a size limit of 39k this means you can embed the video directly into the ad. The ad should load in the video from an external source i.e. special servers to handle the demand for the video which can take up a lot of bandwidth and power.

If its easier propertynews.com can create the video ad for you and handle the hosting.

The costs for this would be:

£95 hosting the video

For SEO purposes ensure all text is displayed as text and not created into images.
Provide a plain text version of the email – as the system will send out html or plain text depending on how the recipients email system is optimized to receive emails.
