HFHNI Partnership Programme

Habitat for Humanity Northern Ireland (HFHNI) aims to help regenerate and reconcile communities, and provide simple, decent and affordable home ownership for lower income families. This project is completed in partnership with Clanmil Housing Association in the Mid-Shankill Project and will provide affordable, shared equity home ownership. It is especially suitable for first time buyers seeking family accommodation.

Selected partners will work together with volunteers to build their home, and those of their neighbours, supervised by an experienced HFHNI construction team. No construction or DIY skills are required but partners must be prepared to volunteer their time to the project. HFHNI will provide a 10% partnership grant to families as a deposit, providing a unique 'hand up' to home ownership. The grant, is gifted to families and does not need to repaid.
